Frequently Asked Questions
If I order an Etui box, when will I receive it?
We try to keep the most popular boxes in stock at all times. If you order a stock item, it will be despatched as soon as we have processed your payment. You should therefore receive your box within one week at the most. If it has to be specially made, you should expect to wait 10 to 14 days as all boxes are hand assembled. However, we always try to improve on deadlines and, where possible, meet special requests from our customers. In all cases, you will be given a delivery date when you place your order.
Do you use other fabrics apart from Hoffman?
We like Hoffman fabrics because they are high quality, give a superb finish, and have a pattern range that caters for most tastes. Linings are made from P&B fabrics which combine perfectly with the Hoffman material and give a good contrast. We constantly investigate other sources but, for the moment, we haven't found anything better than Hoffman.
Do you do a catalogue?
We do have a mail order catalogue for our box kits, please e-mail us via our Contact Us page.
Placing an Order
Can I add to an order after it has been placed?
No, not if an order has been placed and paid for online. As an added security measure, when you pay via paypal, we do not recieve any of your card details and are therefore unable to alter the amount you pay.
Can you send me measurements of items before I buy it?
Yes, where applicable we can provide full measurements of all items. Please email us via our Contact Us page.
Is there VAT on the prices?
We are not currently registered for VAT so all prices are tax free.
Payment
I don't want to pay online with a credit card, can I telephone the card details through?
No, we are no longer able to accept card payments by phone.
Can I pay by cheque?
We would prefer to take payment online through the paypal system. However, if you would like to pay by cheque, please contact us first. Cheques will need to clear before goods are shipped, so your order may take up to 28 days to reach you.
Can you accept cheques in a foreign currency?
No, we can only accept cheques in Pound Sterling drawn on a British bank.
Can I pay be Bank draft or Bank transfer?
If you wish to pay by on of these methods, please contact us for details.
I want to pay by cheque/Bank transfer, can you reserve goods for me?
In certain circumstances, items can be reserved for 14 days. After this time, if payment has not been recieved, they will be returned to stock.
Delivery
How long before my order is despatched?
Your order will usually be processed and despatched within 24-48 hours, orders placed over a weekend or on a public holiday will usually be despatched on the next working day.
How much does postage cost?

Who will deliver my parcel? How are overseas shipments made?
In the UK parcels are sent via Royal Mail
Overseas parcels will be sent via Air Mail and may take between 7-10 working days to reach their destination.
